Long-standing VEKA fabricator S&A Developments in Darwen has developed a striking door which combines a range of innovative features.

The team at S&A have incorporated VEKA's technically-advanced Tilt and Turn window into the top of their stable door, bringing a multitude of benefits to this unusual entrance.

Manager David Connell explains: "Having a Tilt and Turn in the top of the door means there are far more opening combinations. As well as opening in the conventional manner, it can also be tilted open from the bottom edge while remaining locked.

"This offers ventilation without encouraging intruders. So far its been extremely popular with our customers, especially because it has all these extra benefits - but actually works out cheaper than a conventional stable door."
This energy-efficient door and window combination can help significantly reduce heating bills and minimise outdoor noise.

S&A has been working alongside VEKA for well over 30 years and is always on the lookout for new ways to extend its product range and improve the choice that homeowners are offered. It was one of the very first fabricators to begin manufacturing VEKA's new In-Line Sliding Patio Door.
