VEKA Announces Major VS Upgrade

VEKA is pleased to announce the launch of a new Vertical Slider System. The system boasts a host of new features offering enhanced aesthetics and an even higher specification to the already acclaimed system.
Earlier this year VEKA announced that the popular system could now achieve an ‘A’ Rating capacity. Now it has added and upgraded a range of key features including:

NEW Run-Through Sash Horn for authentic appearance, in addition to the options of clip-in or without horn

NEW Blanking Strip, enhancing the interior and exterior finish for foiled on white windows

NEW Bottom Gasket – minimises any chance of draughts

NEW Interlock, offering enhanced structural stability

NEW Sash Stop End kit, ensuring a perfect seal on external and internal sashes

The system has also been made available in a wider range of finishes, with new Rosewood on White and Golden Oak on White as well as Rosewood/Brown, Golden Oak/Caramel, White on White and Brilliant White.

VEKA originally launched its Vertical Slider System in 2008 to meet growing demand in heritage applications for a window that was sympathetic to the setting, whilst offering all the benefits of modern day engineering.

Colin Torley, VEKA Sales & Marketing Director commented: “The Vertical Slider System has grown in popularity since its launch 2 years ago and as with our other systems, VEKA has continuted to invest in its ongoing development to ensure we are offering our customers the most technically advanced VS on the market. VEKA was the first systems company to achieve an ‘A’ Rated window, so naturally we were pleased to be able to offer an ‘A’ Rating on the VS earlier this year.

The new VS System combines the benefits of the original system, coupled with a host of new features which together make for a system that is outstanding, both technically and aesthetically.”
