VEKA is to provide a meeting place for its local Police Cadets for a fourth year running.

The 20 youngsters plus four Senior Cadets will gather at the leading system supplier’s Burnley HQ each week for a year, with meetings in its Conference Room as well as practical sessions in the office car park. In return, the Cadets will again wear the company’s familiar blue diamond VEKA logo on their uniform polo shirts.

VEKA Security Team Leader Karen Pollard welcomed them to the site on their first visit. Youth Involvement Officer PC Julie Eyre said: “Once again, we are very grateful for VEKA’s continued support. These young people put so much effort into the course and such a facility helps them to get the most out of it.”
