VEKA fabricator, Weathershield Windows has been awarded a whopping three Kitemark accreditations for its quality and security.

Weathershield has achieved ISO 9001 (2008) accreditation in recognition of its quality management system, BS 7412 in recognition of its commitment to quality in the manufacturing process and BS 7950 in certification of the product being manufactured to an enhanced security performance.

The company was observed throughout its operations, both clerically and manually, and on their traceability and testing processes as MD Andrew Claxton explains: “We are thrilled to have been awarded three Kitemarks, and while obtaining them was a lengthy process and the business was scrutinised closely, we were positive that we would be successful in gaining them as we manufacture the very best quality product and had the support of industry-leading VEKA behind us.

“Having these accreditations has given us yet more confidence in the future of Weathershield and the products that we offer. We're grateful for the support and commitment we've had from VEKA, which has been invaluable, especially the expertise from the Technical and Sales Teams.”

The company is now beginning production of a five year contract, which Andrew says is down to the encouragement from VEKA and the acquisition of the three Kitemarks, which will further add to the quality and guarantees on offer from Weathershield Windows.
