There are many reasons for choosing to fabricate the market-leading VEKA window system.
The VEKA reputation for product quality and technical superiority has been recognised worldwide for over 40 years, as has our commitment to working in partnership with each of our customers, helping them build their businesses through customer service excellence. As well as being the only window systems company in the world to invest in its own closed loop ‘old to new’ window recycling plant, VEKA was the first window system in the UK to produce an ‘A’ rated window.
Globally, the VEKA group operates manufacturing facilities across Europe, Asia, Russia and the Americas and has a turnover of over 700 million euros. In the UK, VEKA plc has built up an outstanding production facility in Lancashire with a state-of-the-art warehouse facility at a cost of over £9million. This investment ensures that every bar length of VEKA window profile comes to you from one of the most advanced logistics facilities in Europe.
The high-bay fully automated warehouse retrieval system holds up to 6500 separate profile stillages, an increase of 40% on previous stock levels. This illustrates our commitment to customer satisfaction and to improving the accuracy and efficiency of every delivery.
The development of the Matrix range of fully integrated window systems - Matrix 58 and 70mm Chamfered and Matrix 70mm Fully Sculptured - have brought a new level of technical excellence to the window fabrication industry. These systems will enable you to fabricate internally and externally beaded casements, tilt and turns, residential doors, double French doors and tilt and slide patios. All of these products are available in a full range of ex stock woodgrain finishes.
More recently, VEKA plc has launched a new Vertical Slider and Fully Reversible window, together with an In-Line Sliding Patio Door and a new VEKA Composite Door range for domestic and social housing use. When you deal with VEKA you come to expect the best and that’s what we deliver. The most advanced product range (did you know VEKA launched the 1st A rated window in the UK?), the most comprehensive technical support and the most wide ranging marketing and customer support.
VEKA was the first company to pioneer an organisation which would look after the interests of the consumer through a series of quality promises and guarantees, namely - Network VEKA. In developing this organisation, VEKA not only became the first company in the industry to provide peace of mind to the consumer when choosing a company to fit new windows and doors, but also improved the sales potential of its customers. This is because only fabricators and installers using the highest quality VEKA PVC-U are allowed to become Network VEKA members.
Making the change
When we welcome you as a VEKA fabricator, we aim to make the system changeover as easy and trouble-free as possible. This begins with the formation of a project team comprising of both VEKA staff and your own, to progress the changeover at an agreed pace, guided by both experience bases.
The team will then carry out a full technical audit to assess your company’s working procedures and practices. Experience shows this to be the key to a smooth-running changeover. We have never underestimated the attention required in making a system changeover and the effect this can have on productivity. The smooth operation of your production process is the central focus of the changeover, ensuring that product quality and future profitability are maximised.
Tooling
This is a vital part of any changeover or start up. Unlike some system companies, VEKA does not just hand over new tooling and leave you to fit it yourself. We discuss with you the requirements needed to work towards an engineered solution that will provide you with a right first time solution.
Many businesses have an inherent fear of change and we understand some hesitance on the part of the fabricator - you want to know that you will receive the help you need during the switch. The reality is that our changeover teams who carry out the training and changeovers, are considered to be the best in the industry. Please don't worry that once the changeover is complete you may be on your own – VEKA offers excellent ongoing support from our sales, marketing, technical and customer service teams.
Computer Software
Our engineering support also extends to your computer systems. VEKA will work closely with your software providers to ensure that you are using the correct information relating to fittings and ironmongery.
When you install VEKA windows you are involved in the finest quality supply chain in the PVC-U industry. VEKA window systems have been specified and installed in some of the most prestigious projects throughout the world and in the UK, the highly regarded Matrix systems have brought new levels of quality and technical excellence to the home improvement industry. Many VEKA fabricator customers operate throughout the UK so you are only ever a phone call away from a trade fabricator in your area.
Most fabricators operate a trade counter or, for larger projects, delivery to site. With access to VEKA’s extensive Knowledge Bank all fabricators can provide design or specification advice regarding energy ratings, the suitability of a particular window style, glazing options and finishes. In special cases, many fabricators can also help with surveying and measuring projects.
As well as the technical benefits of installing VEKA windows you may also gain from an added sales pitch - If your chosen fabricator is a Network VEKA member, you are also eligible to apply for membership. Your customers can then be assured that your windows come with a range of guarantees and the peace of mind that no other provider can offer.
As well as a wide range of quality PVC-U products, we also offer in-depth sales and marketing support for installers.
